Abstract
The present work aims to analyze the 30 years Roda Viva Commemorative Program, from TV Cultura. This Commemorative program had digital influencers and two main interviewers: Leandro Karnal historian and Luis Felipe Ponde philosopher. The main purpose of this dissertation is to answer two questions: What motivated the format change in the program 30 years Roda Viva Commemorative Program? Which repercussion this change had caused to the program? To answer those questions it is necessary to understand the public sphere concept which has been expressed by Habermas (2017) and relates it to network society by Castells (2007). In order to analyse and answer the questions it was taken into consideration the people participation and the lenght of the program. For the data evaluation the Depth Hermeneutics methodology proposed by Thompson (2011) was used, specially the discursive interpretation. The results obtained indicated the format change was motivated in order to be suitable to networks instead of contribute with innovative content.

Title: Scientific Communication in the Digital Age: The case of SciELO Brazil and its video abstracts (Originally published in Brazilian Portuguese)
Volume/Issue/Pages: Vol. 31, No. iConf (2025), pp. 886-99
Link: https://doi.org/10.47989/ir31iConf64290
Abstract
Introduction. This article analyzes the adoption of video abstracts by SciELO Brazil on its YouTube channel as a strategy for Open Science, exploring the transition from a distribution model to a network knowledge circulation model.
Method. A mixed methodological analysis (longitudinal quantitative and content) was conducted on a corpus of 727 videos published between August 2012 and March 2025.
Analysis. The videos were categorized to examine publication frequency, changes in content strategy, and audience engagement metrics. Results. The data reveal the channel's evolution from a repository of long events to a platform for disseminating short videos. From 2019 onwards, the publication of 'Article Summaries' became the main focus, representing 88.5% of the annual content in 2022.
Conclusion. SciELO Brazil is at the forefront of digital scientific communication, using the video abstract to increase the accessibility and impact of research. The initiative strengthens Open Science, but the heterogeneous quality of the videos points to the need for investment in the media literacy of researchers.

Abstract
The article examines Casimiro Miguel as a media phenomenon in Brazil, highlighting his ability to integrate traditional and digital media. Casimiro is portrayed as a "media hub," connecting platforms and audiences innovatively. The text discusses concepts like "programmed spontaneity" and "programmed ephemerality," describing how he constructs his live broadcasts to create a sense of authenticity and urgency. Casimiro's journey is analyzed as an example of hybridization between Professionally User-Generated Content (PUGC) and Professionally Generated Content (PGC), impacting the television experience in the connection culture. UGC (User-Generated Content) is defined as content created by users for online platforms without profit motives.
